Sura 3Between the 19th of May and the 10th of June 1993 the IRFU "waves in space plasma" team set out to examine steady states for the missing frequencies between the harmonics which had already been thoroughly investigated. A systematic search for those plasma eigenfrequencies, limited to the ones between 4300 kHz and 6800 kHz, was performed. The SEE spectra for different pump frequencies was examined for resonance, the frequency interval being only 100 Hz.One of the aims of the campaign was to examine Doppler effects at resonance and around resonance using a frequency step of of 5 kHz. They also wanted to measure the spectra inside of pulses as well as the total electron content (TEC) as can be obtained from scintillations. The most interesting SEE feature: the BUM, was once again investigated. The scientist wanted more information about properties such as the dependence on power, which was investigated by increasing and descreasing the power exponentially at a pump frequency of 5455 kHz, and the temporal evolution of the BUM which was recorded at a pump frequency of 5425 kHz. Investigation of the temporal development of day and night BUM as well as comparisons between day and night SEE in general was made. Gregori Komrakov's Doppler experiment and Vladimir Frolov's time history experiment were successfully run.
